Redirect Links Maintain Your Integrity
If you’ve used affiliate links, you know that they can work one day and the next they are broken. It can be a frustrating experience trying to keep up with advertisers who are either sold out, gone, or just plain cheating your customers. While you want to do business with some affiliate partners, you don’t want their lack of professionalism to reflect badly on you. For that reason, many people use redirect links instead of direct links to their affiliate partners offers.
A redirect link simply redirects the URL to your own page that has a redirect command on it to your affiliate partner. Now, you use that URL instead of the affiliate link in your ebooks, web pages, and advertising. If you find your affiliate is not meeting your standards you only change the redirect command to a different advertiser and all your products, even ones you already sold will be updated with the new information.
